Some Answers Series: Why so many women are Swamiji's disciples?

Nithyanandam!

Let me begin with a small story!

A journalist once asked Swamiji -"How come so many women disciples around you?”
I loved the way Swamiji answered - "Because I can handle it!"

While sharing this story with a group of disciples, Master also added - "70% of the women disciples are over 70 years! And this jealous fellow asks how come so many women around Me!”
Master looked like a mischievous teenager who was faking sadness at his plight!

I notice Master answers depending on our level of maturity.

He did not give a spiritual explanation to the journalist; some thing like –

‘A Master is neither a man nor a woman. He is God. Women are passive by nature; therefore opened to spirituality…..”

Instead He ended the matter right there by His apt comment. I admire the way He responds to life!

Clearly the journalist was jealous deep down. I thought that was a very silly question to ask a Master like Swamiji.

But a journalist represents the crowd – our collective consciousness!

Many would want to know - How come this young monk has capacity to attract so many beautiful and intelligent women?

I wish to answer this question as a woman. I must insist here that I am not respodning as His disciple.

A woman feels uncomfortable around a man only if he is looking at her like an object of his desire/pleasure.

Master has explained it quite simply. When we look at a person (Being) with lust; we immediately bring the Being inside down to the frequency of matter. And the Being does not like it. Women are naturally very alert on this area.

They start disliking a man intuitively. He need not say a word or even look at the woman, just the feeling inside him is enough to give clear signal of disrepect to the body.

Likewise, when we look at a deity with love and respect we raise the level of the matter (stone statue) to the Being (Divine) level.

Let me say some thing very boldly. Swamiji has zero lust at the level of His form as well as His Being. In addition He has many other attributes absent like - guilt, anger, hatred, vengeances, violence, etc… The space around Him is very sacred. It gives total security to women. No trace of threat or doubt. What remains is pure gold- love of Master.

When Master looks at me I feel exactly the same way how Paramhansa Ramakrishna looked at Ma Kaali. When Master calls me "Ma!"; I feel myself no less than Goddess Kali. When I first met Master in Vancouver He called me – “Ma!” during Energy Darshan. One word from the Master and I was Clean Bowled! **

I have been very fortunate to receive hugs from my beloved Masters during many Energy Darshans. When He hugs me; He hugs totally. I have felt as if I am His mother. I have enen felt as if He is my mother and more. During that time a lot of healing happens to the wounds that no medical doctor in the world can heal. Master’s presence gives real assurance that every thing is fine! He has come to erase what wrong was done to me. All these and much more happen without Him saying a world.

I am sure you have noticed how He touches His handkerchief. He touches it with so much love that of course includes total respect. He is always full of love and He is always total. I feel totally loved and accepted just the way I am. This feeling is quite natural when I am around Him. It is also there when I think about Him. It is intense when I do Guru Pooja. I have never felt this way in front of any human being. NEVER! It is clearly Divine doing.

Disciples would agree that when they go back to their world after spending few days with Master, people around them comment that they look more beautiful. I first realized it when I returned from Himalayan trip with the Master.

While returning to my home in Philadelphia, I took a break journey in London to spend some time with my brother. I was sweetly surprised to receive a call from Swami Medhananda. He suggested me to give an Intro Talk to help start a center in London. By the way, any time you receive a call from these senior Swamis, please know for sure that Swamiji Himself is speaking on the other side of the phone line. Anyway….

I took a train to reach the place for Intro Talk. As soon as I entered the local train, I notice many heads turns towards me in awe! I felt truly beautiful inside. I understood that these people were able to see Swamiji’s energy that was radiating from my body! Even the Sun in the sky was admiring me! I notice the same in all His disciples. I am sure many of you would relate with what I am talking about here.

The best compliment I ever received was from an Enlightened Guru. She commented – “You emit your Guru’s love! It shows who your Guru is and He loves you so much!”

Now, tell me can any human being do this us?

I know, I know! Every time I begin to say some thing, no matter what the topic is, it always leads to one conclusion that Master is embodiment of Divine.

Now! Is it not natural to get attracted towards Divine? Men-women-children from all over the world are simply drawn towards Him. Why are we making a big deal about the number of women disciples!

Jai Guru Dev!

** Clean bowled is a term used in the game of Cricket. When bowled, a ball that breaks the wicket without even touching the batsman or his bat! Obviously, I (batsman) was knocked out! In other worlds- I was sold to Him without Him buying me!

Nithyanandam!

Thank you Sri Nandalal!

It is encouraging to see people are enjoying my late night writings!

After I finish my day's work, I steal some time from my sleep to do Mission work.

And it is the most precious time of the day. Master is in His Mission 70% of His Being.

He is in His body only 30% or even less. Doing any work related to Mission is direct connection with Master. As I am growing, I realize it deeper that every time I do any Mission related task, I clearly feel His intense presence. He is always with us but during Mission work He increases intensity. He takes total responsibility. Such is the love of Master! Jai Guru Dev! Love in Nithyananda! - Ma

 Archana Ma,

I was just amazed to see that picture of Swamiji with the sun in it.  As for as the center in Porterville, I have been doing Satsangs for more than three months now with as many as two to 13 people. I have not found a permanent place yet. I am just trying to give the glimpse of Swamiji to people slowly. We are gathering two times a week (Thursday and Saturday) and doing eN-Kriya. I added Saturdays only recently since so many people said weekdays don't work for them. There is a lot of interest in meditation in my town. It is just a matter of stressing the importance of giving priority to it and making them attend the Satsang.  Just have to be persistent. I am in touch wit the LA center. I sure will keep your offer in my mind for the right occasion. I want to come and see the sun rise and set in the Washington D.C. center. What a blessing!!!

in Nithyanandam,

chitra
