GENETIC SCIENCE BEHIND INITIATION (DEEKSHA) – Morning message by Paramahamsa Nithyananda, Thu, Oct 21, 2010.

• Language affects DNA.
• DNA can be reprogrammed by speech.
• DNA reacts to spoken words of proper frequencies.

Today, first I will share some of the shaastra pramaanaas, eternal truths revealed to and by the ancient and modern rishis.

“Rishi” means “mantra drashtaha” - one who sees the mantras. “Mantra” means “the way for liberation, the way for higher consciousness, the way for higher experiences”. Manaha thraayathey ithi mantraaha! Way or path which shows the way to man or mind to reach higher consciousness is mantra.

All our rishis are supposed to have experienced at least one mantra; only then they are rishis.

Swamis are supposed to have experienced all mantras; only then they are Swamis. Swamis have to experience all great truths, only then they are Swamis.

Some 112 rishis are recorded in the vedic tradition. We will have moorthis (statues) of all of them in our ashram in Bidadi. These moorthis of 112 rishis will be taken care of by those in the Rishi Order in our ashram.

Moorthis of Swami Parampara (Swami Order) also we will have in our Bidadi ashram, from Shankara upto me; these moorthis will be taken care of by the Swamis in our ashram.

Nowhere both Rishis and Swamis have stayed, co-existed together; but now we will have both of them together in our ashram in Bidadi.

Rishis have contributed so much to the world. Today, I will reveal some scientific discoveries by both modern and ancient rishis. Then I will add atma pramaana – my own experience – so they can become aapta pramaana – your own experience.

LANGUAGE AFFECTS DNA: Russian scientists who have done research on the human DNA say that the human DNA is a “biological Internet” with evidence that the DNA can be influenced and reprogrammed by words. The genetic code of 90% of dormant DNA (which I call Jivatman DNA) follows rules of human languages.

Once, I asked Raghupathi Yogi (one of my gurus) what is yoga for the brain? He said chanting Sanskrit mantras is yoga for the brain. Raghupathi Yogi used to insist that I chant the Surya Namaskar mantras – “Om Hraam Mithraaya Namaha, Om Hreem Ravaye Namaha…..” – while doing Surya Namaskar.

A person who speaks decent, cultured language, naturally lives in a decent and cultured way. I have seen this from my own experience. The standard of language a person speaks directly affects the way in which he thinks, the way in which he acts. There may be exceptions, but these are rare. The language we speak directly affects the alkalinity of our DNA, say Russian scientists. That is why Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) makes you more alive than what you are now.

DNA CAN BE REPROGRAMMED BY SPEECH: The next important discovery, truth, is that our DNA can be reprogrammed by speech, when words are modulated correctly.

When the Upanishads are chanted correctly, the Cosmic DNA can be changed. That is why homas, when performed correctly, bring down rain. If people whose DNAs are altered, reprogrammed by the sound of mantras and frequencies, if they sit together and create those sounds, the Cosmic DNA can be changed.

A bit of the cosmos which is reprogrammed by the reprogrammed body of the Master is “energy field”. That is why, living in the energy field of the Master reprograms our DNA.

DNA REACTS TO SPOKEN WORDS OF PROPER FREQUENCIES: This is how affirmations, hypnosis, words of Masters affect your DNA directly. That is why when you listen to the great truths spoken by Masters, it gets recorded in your DNA and becomes part of your DNA. So, it is very important to know the importance of initiation.

Importance of Initiation:

• If you sit and listen to the truths from an ordinary man who has intellectually memorized, it is called “learning”; he is the teacher and you are the student.
• If you sit and listen to a man who himself is practicing those truths, he is called “acharya” and you are called the “sishya”.
• If you sit and listen to those truths from someone who has himself experienced those truths, he is “guru” and you are “sishya”.

• If you sit and listen to those truths from one who has himself experienced those truths and can reproduce the same experience in you, then he is a “Master”, an “Incarnation”, and the process is “Initiation”. Your DNA then gets reprogrammed for enlightenment.

So your DNA can be reprogrammed by the right words, right chanting, right initiation from an incarnation whose DNA is completely reprogrammed. That is why the words of the Master spread inside you like fire and makes you experience.

Russian scientists say that human language did not appear coincidentally, but it is a reflection of our DNA.

Through this I want you to understand three important truths:

(1) Be aware of the words you use.

(2) Listen to the great words only from the person who has experienced those truths.

(3) Whenever you listen to the great words and higher frequency from the person who has experienced, your DNA is reprogrammed, it becomes your experience. That is what is “INITIATION”.
